Sure, There was a side in her that burned with a fire of the willingness to kick him off completely. Yato had to stop wasting money and start saving if he wanted to achieve his dream. The shrine he wanted, the acknowledgement he had longed for.
But even if Hiyori had thrown him off, She had a dominant emotional side which the most was consists of her feelings for Yato and Yukine. It didn’t allow her to do anything rational, not for a long term.
“Vegetables, Sandwiches. Cereal.” She offered and stood up. “Throw it away, I’ll bring you some!” Hiyori announced and quickly ran to buy from the closest grocery all that she needed and mentioned. She had the money. She helped them until Yato had the place to live and the money to use. “Here you go,” She took the bag of chips away from him, since - of course, Yato didn’t get rid of it, and Hiyori placed a packed sandwich and a cold juice.
Her lavender eyes softened. “This is normal food, Yato. I bought for Yukine too, But I don’t see him around-” Hiyori returned to sit next to him and took out from the shopping back what she bought for herself.
“Isn’t it better?”
After some quick examples of what was considered healthy and what wasn’t, Hiyori was already out the door with her set mission; getting him to eat something with nutritional value. Being a god, the deity didn’t exactly need such foods, but despite that fact he had a feeling the brunette wouldn’t care either way.
His eyes gazed down at the half empty bag, forgetting to get rid of them. Part of him didn’t want to, because they were delicious despite being bad for his health. In no time short Hiyori returned with better food options. Before he could react the bag was snatched out his hands and disposed of by the persistent brunette. Throwing them out seemed wasteful and he didn’t want to waste an offering even it if wasn’t the best for him.
As the half-phantom took a seat next to the god, he accepted the sandwich and cold beverage, simply eyeing it. At the brief mention of Yukine, the deity provided a quick answer. “He’s been playing with his friend.” Without anymore delay; the calamity god took a bite of the sandwich, and his neutral expression changed.
“Mhm! It is better!” A satisfied smile laid upon his lips, as he took another bite. It was delicious! Mission make Yato happy: accomplished.
“Arigato, Yato.” Hiyori shook her head when she saw him eating chips and wondered if he finished his chores. Yet she smiled. “Actually, It was good! Until my soul escaped from my body again.” She murmured and sat next to him.
She wanted him to fix her body. It was embarrassing, tiring and annoying that her body and her soul were separated. However, Hiyori wanted to stay with Yato and refused to forget or cut ties with him.
“Why are you not eating a decent food?” She glanced at him earnestly. “I’ll bring you something.”
The brunette’s kindness surprised the deity. In all honesty he excepted to be kicked out of her room, but her caring side came into play instead. “It was all I could find.” It was a horrible lie, the fridge was full of healthy stuff but his appetite didn’t call for it.
His eating habits weren’t the best. Yato couldn’t even recall the last time he had something faintly health related.
“You don’t have to..” His bright blue gaze momentarily drifts to the side, then focuses back on her. Well, if she wanted to he wasn’t against the idea. So, he gives in to the temptation. “But, I won’t stop you. What’s considered healthy food again?”
